he's gone.
maybe, forever.
he left me
a guitar
an amp
a book he says reminds him of me
a movie that we watched today that made us cry
about explorers in the sky
he loves me more than i could ever hope to be loved.
and i sent him away.
one day, maybe i'll see him in the sky from atop a mountain i've already climbed.
he'll wave at me from a very tall tree.
and i'll wave back at him.
Seeing a future for all that's in shreds, that's where all of my travels have led.
